Hello Fans, Friends and Family

Friday, June 18th:  Yesterday, we continued our visit with Judy’s college friends until after lunch.  Judy has some more friends that live here in Fremont, NE.  They invited us over to visit with them until Saturday Morning.  We had a very nice visit with them and they made us feel right at home.  They are, from left to right:  Jacob, Julie, Gene, Jackson and Judy.  Julie and Gene both attended high school with Judy’s son, Jamie.

Today we went to a concert in the park and listened to a group called “Fremont Pathfinder Chorus.”  They sing in a barbershop quartet style.  They will be going to Philadelphia in July to compete at the 2010 Barbershop International Chorus Competition.  They are the first Nebraska based chorus to qualify for International competition.  This week I cycled 228 miles giving me a total of 3,965 miles of cycling in twelve weeks.  Tomorrow morning begins my 13th week of cycling as I ride to Blaire, NE.  I will be meeting up with members of my bicycle club along the way.  Until then . . .
