Main St Huntington Beach by wildwes49

Tuesday, May 10, 2011:  This morning I rode to the cross-over bridge on the San Gabriel River Bike Trail to meet with some friends from my bike club.  We took an easy ride back to the coast and down PCH to Main Street, Huntington Beach for Breakfast and back.  It was a gorgeous day for a bike ride and we really enjoyed the coastal scenery.  You can view the details of this ride by clicking on the link at the end of this post.  Saturday, May 14, I plan on meeting with other cyclists from my cycling club for our annual Emma Wood Ride. It will be about a 60 mile ride from Emma Wood State Park in Ventura. The ride will take us through Emma Wood State Park to Santa Barbara and back and will include some some great coastal scenery. Helmets are required on all our rides. The ride begins at 8:AM. To get there take Ventura 101 Freeway north and exit right on California for .3 miles. Turn left on Main St for about 2 miles. Park under Eucalyptus trees on right before you enter freeway or campground. Please comment on this post if you plan to attend.
